People Next Door Special Programme

"People Next Door“ is a special programme of Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, organized in cooperation with the Youth Assembly of Ethnic Minorities of Estonia. The program consists of 12 films which represent cultures of 10 different countries.

Of the whole population of Estonia more than 30% are people from other ethnical backgrounds and nationalities. These people are not only the well-known Russians or Finns, but have more exotic origins like Chinese, Armenian, Georgian or even Tatar and Indian.

Our mission is to offer to the wide Estonian audience a real glimpse of the culture and everyday lives of these „People Next Door“.
